Rosacea is a common facial ailment that is commonly associated with acne. Rosacea shows up as redness around the center of the face. It is most common in Caucasians of northern European descent and 3 times more common in women than men. It is also call the curse of the Celts due to is predisposition to affecting people of Celtic origins.

Although rosacea may have red pimple like surface blemishes, they aren’t the same as regular face acne. Mild cases often go untreated and when it is treated, the condition becomes visible again after treatment is terminated.
